Why We Use Guardrails
We want every story generated in the app to feel safe, consensual, and adult-only. The AI checks your requests (and its own suggestions) against a small set of safety rules so it can step in whenever something crosses a line, keeping the experience respectful for everyone.

What the Guardrails Cover

• Adults Only: Stories must never involve minors or anything that could be read as underage content.
• Consensual Scenes: All portrayed intimacy must be fully voluntary; coercion or non-consensual scenarios are blocked.
• No Sexual Violence: We filter out anything involving harm or brutality in a sexual context.
• No Incest: Family relationships are out of bounds for generated content.

How It Works Behind the Scenes

• Each request you make and each completion the AI drafts are screened in real time.
• If a rule is triggered, the AI simply lets you know the request can’t be processed and waits for your next idea—nothing is saved.
• The editor will briefly highlight the “generate” control so you can see the block at a glance, and then it resets once you keep writing.
• These guardrails also help us monitor overall usage so we can refine the rules responsibly over time.
